TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's National Mother's Day is celebrated every December 22. This year is the 96th National Mother's Day celebration. Every year, Mother's Day is celebrated with a certain theme.
This year's National Mother's Day is themed 'Women Greet, Women Empower Towards Golden Indonesia 2045'. This theme is expected to reflect the spirit and important role of women in various aspects of life, especially in supporting the progress of the nation.
Quoted from Antara, the government through the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) has released guidelines for the implementation of the 2024 Mother's Day (PHI) Commemoration. This celebration aims to honor the role of women in driving the progress of the nation, where the social sensitivity and sensitivity they have are valuable assets for the country in achieving the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
The theme of National Mother's Day 2024 has three meanings, first communication has a crucial role in every interaction, especially in encouraging solidarity and support between women. The theme also means appreciating the active role, struggle, and contribution of women in advancing the surrounding environment for the progress of the nation. Another meaning of the theme is to inspire and increase public awareness and support for the importance of women's empowerment.
The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection has also announced two official logos for the 2024 Mother's Day commemoration. The first logo is the main logo representing the 96th Mother's Day Commemoration, while the second logo is used specifically for the 2024 Mother's Day event. Both logos are designed to reflect the spirit and values carried out in the commemoration of Mother's Day, such as respect for the role of women, the power of compassion, and the contribution of mothers in building families and the nation.
The main logo for the 96th National Mother's Day Commemoration illustrates the essence and philosophy of Mother's Day as a whole, while the event logo emphasizes the representation of the way of thinking and behaving of empowered women that is in accordance with this year's series of activities.
The 96th National Mother's Day Commemoration Guidelines are prepared as guidelines for government agencies and community organizations, both at the central and regional levels. This guideline is also designed as a guideline for Indonesian representatives abroad, in organizing the 96th Mother's Day Commemoration in 2024, in accordance with the duties, functions, and readiness of each institution.
